It has been years since i have posted anything, i miss the good old days when i was up late at night soaking in all your art snd getting new ideas! Right now this is my only social media besides TikTok because of all that craziness that is going on in the world. I hope you are all doing well, i miss talking to you guys!

Just random thoughts as I'm drawing. How do some artists draw and paint at an easel? I could only do this in my figure drawing class but only cuz it would be uncomfortable to do it on the floor. I mostly draw in my bed, on the couch, or at my drawing table, but rarely at my drawing table because I don't have a comfortable chair to sit in yet. I think drawing at an easel is hard on my shoulders (maybe because they have been injured), it hurts to keep my arms raised all the time while drawing. I guess I just do it the way that is most comfortable for me, that way I can focus on what I'm drawing rather than if my shoulders hurt.

Well it's all settled! I am now Christa Shawn Nelson. Matthew and I were married December 13, 2014!!
I am having massive art block right now. Too many big changes in my life right now I think with getting married and changing jobs (I am now working at a retirement home). I have a little bit of down time now so we will see if i can work past my art block. I miss drawing so bad :(
